At Hafen Wien, a Fuchs MHL380F material handler is used with several different attachments – including an orange-peel grab, two loading grabs, a Big Bag Spreader and a double load hook.
Changing attachments is part of the job. The challenge was to find a weighing solution that could remain on the machine and deliver reliable weight data regardless of which attachment was being used.
The solution: the Intermercato MH25 Intelligent Weighing System, installed in front of the OilQuick OQC70/55 quick coupler.
This means the weighing system stays with the machine when attachments are changed. Instead of requiring a separate weighing solution for each attachment, the same MH25 can be used throughout the operation.

Different attachments have different weights. With the MH25, the operator can tare directly from the cab when changing attachments, allowing the system to adapt quickly to the next task.
The result is a flexible setup designed around the way the machine is actually used – with weighing integrated into the normal handling process rather than becoming an extra step.

BUILT FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATION.
At a busy port, equipment has to work without getting in the way of the operation. The MH25 combines a lightweight yet robust stainless-steel construction with wireless communication, eliminating the need for additional cabling between the weighing system and the cab.
